On a clear day - you can see forever.....

Beautiful powder blue skies merge into deep ultra-marine

Normanville is a lovely picturesque beach situated only 75 km south of Adelaide

This solitary seagull faced a dilema !!- he had in his mouth a beautiful silver fish - too big to eat in one gulp but of course he didn't want to put it down for fear of losing it.
We watched for a long time concerned that maybe it had a hook that was wedged in his mouth - but finally he spat it out onto the sand before quickly retrieving it and finally finishing his  ~ fresh from the sea ~  fish dinner.

The soft light falling on the distant cliffs is beautiful.

The colour of the shallows is so very striking. I have never been down the Fleurieu Peninsula (?sp) but hope to travel there and down to Kangaroo Island during 2012.
