A wonderful time of the year. Once you see the cherry blossom you know winter has finished it's hold on the landscape.
There's wonderful texture to that photo, but then I'm always a sucker for cherry trees.

It looks as though the tree is clothed in the finest pink veil. I am sure most of that beautiful blossom would now be all washed off with the huge rain we have had.
Cherry blossoms always have an enchanting romance about them. Blossoms on my Mornington Peninsula are struggling to appear with all our cold and rain.
