Foraging for Fungi ........

photographing fungi isn't the easiest thing to do
it literally means getting down and getting dirty AND wet !!

These pics were taken in our lovely Adelaide Hills
with touches of autumnal gold still hanging on
adding a welcome touch of warmth to the damp and dismal hill-scape

Need to be very careful identifying these mushrooms before eating them. This could be an amanita, a highly poisonous mushroom. Or not. But it makes a great picture.

Wonderful touch of rich Autumnal colours. Your willingness to "get down and dirty" paid dividends!

Stunning shots.

Nice shots. To make the job a lot easier you need to buy a mini-tripod and a camera with a tilting screen.

Funny Fungi, I can picture you crouching in the wet. The hardest thing is getting up again. Soon those leaves will be replaces by Springtime buds. Roll on Spring.
