5am ........

~   henley beach jetty   ~

the hour before sunrise is the prettiest time of the day
it just means getting up very early to capture those soft morning hues
and to top it off,  there's always the reward of coffee and croissant
at the beach-side bakery
*********
It was quite dark when I took these pics
so I used long exposure on a tripod which picked up
the pastels of morning skies while creating a soft silky sea-scape

Beautiful hues should always be followed by coffee and croissant Dianne.

Sounds idyllic - and the coffee and croissants don't sound bad either.

I know that early morning feeling. It's worth a little less sleep for the beautiful pastel tones.

Very pretty pastels! May be just a hint of haze, which adds to the beauty.
