Tumble-Weed Thistles and Graffiti ........

In rural Australia sights along railway corridors
generally consist of a mish-mash of dare I say it "the unkempt & ugly"
but on waiting at the crossing yesterday
I glimpsed a different aspect - one of
light and shade and colour

The weeds are nice but not the graffiti

I agree with Dianne. I can see beauty in the weeds but not the Graffiti.
I really...... dislike graffiti.

Like your other comments I do not find that graffiti has any artistic qualities especially when it is just a name tag.

I like the photos especially the first one.

Some graffiti I like, but not these, since they're not artistically done. The thistles at least remedy this place:)

I'm so disappointed to see the graffiti. I wonder what the tagger would say about his "work" in 10 years.

I think some graffiti can look artsy and pretty. Sometimes it is ugly.. I love the last shot, pretty colors. Have a happy week!

It didn't take long here in the States for any attraction to the growing mass of graffiti to fade, dwindle and die, but that hasn't lessened the amount!! Made for more if anything! You did get some great shots - as always, Dianne!! Hope you have a great week!

The weeds and graffiti seem to go hand in hand. Nice shots.
