Blues Skies & Sand Puddles .......

~    Saint-Malo on the west coast of France   ~

Less than 3 months ago this seaside village was battered by wild storms
with waves reaching the height of a two story building
but when I visited recently - all was calm ... barely a wave in sight..

The west coast of Britain suffered from the same storms. I hadn't realised that France had been similarly affected though common sense would suggest that they would have been. Glad to see that calmness and tranquillity is restored.

It does look very calm, nice backdrop with the houses.

Truly magnificent Dianne. How wonderful it would be to live in one of those villas on the cliff with a never ending view of the sea.

Thosde buildings do look precariously close to the water. But what grand coastal scenery. Very romantic.

Lovely living directly at the water's edge but it does have some disadvantages especially with sea level rise and intensifying storms.
