Before The Day Arrives .......

Solitary  ~ Sentinel

Early morning with no need for life-guards to be on watch
but as the day progresses this beach will be packed with people
trying to cool down in our predicted 43◦C heat
in Fahrenheit that is a warm 109.4◦

I am very thankful for air-conditioning and a chance to
watch the "Australian Open Tennis" on tv

To see what's happening in other corners of the world
take at peek at "Our World Tuesday"

A early morning walk on that beach must be like heaven!
I love sand dunes, the grasses and the pink sky!
All seems to be well in your little corner of the world Dianne!
I might see some of the tennis too!

Beautiful photo and beautiful beach. I don't think I would enjoy 109 degrees, however!

Great photo capturing the early morning colors. Stay cool - if possible! At least the BOM is predicting that heat will stay south of us - hope they are right!

Great color and light in your wonderful photo.

Such beautiful colours in this daybreak shot Dianne. The pinks graduating into soft blue is just wonderful and the contrasting sharp lines and hues in the watch tower are a great juxtaposition. You even captured the clarity in that seagull on the left. Brilliant.

love the lifeguard station. And Australian is a hot place. I live in FLA it is warm but 109 degrees warm. drink lots of ice cold water in a pretty glass. It helps!

Hi Dianne
Thanks for taking us to the beach - i feel for you, it is boiling here and even hotter I can see with you. I have been at the tennis all day and I can tell you you have the best seat in the house - I was a Sweaty Betty melting mess!
