Next Stop Antartica .....

~   Sleaford Bay   ~

Looking out onto the Great Australian Bight

If you happened to be blown out to sea from here
your next land stop would be Antarctica.
Nothing but beautiful pristine waters for the next 8,000 km

How beautiful! If we stand on the shore here there is nothing between us and............Japan.

we really enjoyed seeing the Great Australian Bight and the dramatic cliffs on our recent trip across the Eyre Hwy and around the Eyre Peninsular. On our south coast too I get the feeling of 'next stop Antarctica". Have a great week. How's the weather your way - ours has been burning hot for days.

This is a fascinating thought, one that I had recently as I drove along the southern coast of Africa and realized that the next land was . . . Antartica.

Stunning photos of aqua water and blue skies with fluffy white clouds.

We do live in an amazing and a isolated country Dianne.

Super scenes. If I stand on the North Norfolk coast here there's a similar endless ocean all the way to the North Pole, something which is quite easy to believe when there's a north wind blowing.

I used to live in Puerto Rico and loved those same blues and greens of the water.
