Are We There Yet ...........

Summer is just around the corner for us in the Southern hemisphere
blue skies - warm days and unfortunately at the other end of the spectrum
bush-fires and snakes.

A friend and I had just finished taking a few beach shots when we noted
a very long brownish snake slithering it's way through the sand - eek !!
and yes I took a photo - but couldn't bring myself to include it in this post.

What kind of snake was it?

Stefan: I don't know but have been googling around to see if I can identify it. It looked like a "brown snake" which are very poisonous but to me -a snake is a snake- will let you know if I find out.

A lovely trio of beach panoramas Dianne. Gee I am sure the snake would have made you jump. Always to take several steps backwards when you see a snake.

I could do with some time on a sunny beach at the moment. Minus the snake, of course.
