Yesterday was one of those out-of-the-blue days
when skies are blue and the winter sun alights upon bare arms.
I dropped by our neighbourhood almond orchard
to capture a busy bee drinking nectar from a blossom
not an easy task because blossoms flutter in the breeze
and bees buzz and flit from bough to bough.

Happy Skywatching

Lovely that so much is already blooming. Great shot of the honeybee and almond blossom.

PS the Cootamundra wattles are out in the hills.

I love the way Skywatch turns the world upside down and reminds that summer and winter happen in the same months....These are spectacular.

Beautiful shot for this time of the year, considering the weather we have been having. I agree yesterday was lovely - today not so. No blossom in the hills yet.

Almond blossoms look wonderful - a little like apple blossom. You did so well to capture the bee busy at its business.
