Waiting At The Station ........

I'm not usually good at spotting street portraiture opportunities
but when I looked across the tracks to see this girl
waiting for a north-bound train ... I just knew I had to capture the moment.
I hope she didn't mind!

A picture perfect moment Dianne! Sometimes it makes me curious if there's photos of me out there that I'm not aware of, with everyone having some type of camera on them at all times (especially us avid bloggers) any capture is possible. I just hope if there is one photo of me out there that they got my good side! lol All kidding aside I agree with Cezar, the blur really adds depth to this photo, fantastic shot!

Have a wonderful week.

Perfect find. She is so contemplative and the colors work well.

It's wonderful. Her expression is so open to interpretation. Maybe wistfully determined with a touch of regret.

Well spotted Dianne. The blend of colour in this photograph looks like the moment was choreographed. Sometimes a view just deserves to be photographed.

Great photo. I like the contrast of the sharp focus on the face and the soft blur of the rest.

This is a type of photography I dont do enough of - I think I need to do a bit harder.

The cormorant in the WBW post is a great image - as you can see I am running very late this week!

Glad you liked the wordy post.

She looks as if she's miles away even without the train Dianne,I hope she's dreaming of something or someone nice :)

It's a very good shot Dianne - the subject looking sad or deep in thought and the blur giving the illusion of speed on the train. Or am I thinking too deeply? :)

I've been practising street portraiture lately, would give my left arm for a shot like that!

You spotted this one! I can spot them, but I am too hesitant to photograph people.
