Where The Fig Trees Grow .......

On passing a lovely old estate in the foothills this morning
I noticed a new sign on the gate
"Pick your own figs"
and so that's what I did - well worth the effort
they were delicious!

Oooh! Yum!
I love figs. We had a big old fig tree in our backyard when I was little and I spent many happy hours climbing it and eating. Years later we had a fig tree when my kids were teens, but I couldn't get them interested in the fruit. hah! More for me....

That second shot is like a work of art Dianne. Thx for your comments on my Dawn photos. It was your dawn photos that inspired us to get out and about early.

What a lovely shot of the fig. It looks so juicy and delicious! My grandma just gave me a start from her fig tree and I can't wait til I get some fruit.

Visiting from Weekly Top Shot :)
