At The Boat-Ramp .......

Early morning at the West Lakes Boat-Ramp where
I tried to capture a few images before the rowers arrived.
Alas it was way too dark so this image was taken using Bulb- mode
holding the shutter open for a longer length of time
and Voila! ...  my first ever Bulb capture.

Congratulations Dianne. Great clarity in this long exposure. Isn't it great when you master a new technique? Bravo.

A great first bulb capture - I bet it took a couple of tries to get it right!

Hey, good for you. I just got a new remote shutter release for my camera so I can do this on a tripod without shaking the camera, but I need to read the instructions before giving it a try.

Well done. If this was hand held with your finger on the shutter you have an incredibly steady hand. I need a tripod and shutter release.

Thats a very nice image - always hard to get a balance of the light in these types of pictures.

My mother in laws paddocks were covered in the flowers from your last post - they dont have the sort of name you can google!

Great job at a crisp & colorful photo in these lighting conditions!
Beautiful!
Our northern Minnesota land of 10,000 lakes are all frozen & hidden under a thick cover of snow..
Glossy waters look nice & remind me that summer will be here before we know it!
