Brush-strokes of Pink .......

~  Nelumbo Nucifera  ~

At this time of year the "Lotus Pond" located with-in
Adelaide's Botanical Gardens is awash with pink

It's a place I go back to many times during our Summer months
endeavouring to capture a different perscpective
of this exquiste flower

Brushstrokes of pink

The Sacred Lotus is the national flower
of both India and Vietnam

I can clearly see the brush strokes on these petals. Nature has an infinite pallet and, in this case, a very elegant and gentle touch.

It does seem that there is a very deliberate brushed effect of pink tone on these exquisite petals! Very beautiful! I would be taking heaps of photos too!
