6am precisely ....

~  Semaphore Jetty  ~

The beauty of digital photography is if you forget what time you took a picture
the info is right there on the image.

I've made a few trips to the beach with friends lately and
with these captures I forgot .... was it early morning sunrise
or late evening just after the sun had set?

Well my info tells me it was 6am precisely
now how ever did I manage to be up and at the beach
 by that unearthly hour.

Were they catching any fish - no just posing!!

These beautiful photos remind me that I need to get up early like this and chase the sunrise. Love the cleanness of these shots and your shooting angle.

Great shot, remember the early bird catches more worms.

They are beautiful shots. My camera would tell me the time and date if I had reset it after visiting the other side of the world!

Your early morning really paid off Dianne. I must admit it's hard to get up, but the light is just so magical early, it's always worth it! The pier disappearing into the soft horizon is too lovely.

A peaceful photo. Sunrise photos can be scary with them sometimes looking malevolent, but this one is not. I too have struggled with differentiating sunrise from sunset.

beautiful colours in that first image especially Diane; you have wonderful scenery nearby!

You sure get up early for Skywatch Friday posts. 6AM and all these people are out fishing. Must be a good spot to catch fish. John, my husband, doesn't always catch a lot of fish but some; then he says afterall Joyce it is called fishing not catching. rofl.

Hi Dianne,

Such a beautiful peaceful time to be out and about.
Surprising how many fishermen were there, maybe catching their breakfast.
Love the pretty colours of the sky.

Have a great weekend

Long time no see Diane. Apologies, I've been away from blog land for a while. The infinity jetty with the pink and purple sky is superb. Worth getting up early for!
