Skywatching ......

Looking across the River Torrens towards Adelaide's Festival Theatre Complex

This capture was taken with my trusty point-and-shoot
which still gets taken along with me on trips to the city centre
you know for those just-in-case moments

While I have a vested interest in saying there is nothing wrong with a point and shoot, I think the photo proves the point.

my point and shoot goes most places with me too, but I don't get out at night much.

Classic Adelaide. Compact point and shoots do come in handy.

A familiar icon of Adelaide with great reflections. The point and shoot cameras can give some great shots. I remember when my DSLR stopped working 2 days before we left for our USA trip. I took my point and shoot and came back with some really nice shots and it was easier to carry.

A point and shoot is our way of photography - small ans light, its resolution may be suspect. However, just having it by our sides we are are abe to capture the memories as they occur...this view of Adelaide on the water is wonderful!
