Underworld in Green ........

~ Lotus Pond Adelaide Botanic Gardens ~

Its a salve to the eyes to peek into the green underworld
of the lotus pond  - so cool and refreshing
it won't be long before this pond will be a mass of
pink lotus blooms just like in my header photo

I've always loved your header Dianne. Was that taken in the Botanic gardens in Adelaide?

Fun60:- yes, the header photo was taken in the Botanic Gardens ... it's right near my city bus stop so I often make a detour to see what's happening in the pond.

Now that I have bad knees and squatting down low to get a shot is out of the question, I want to know WHERE you were to get this fab POV!

I've never managed to be there when the lilies are flowering. I may have to check in on a weekly basis now. I'd love to get a photo of the flowering.

Thank you all for your comments I really appreciate them.
To answer the question - how did I take the photo?
Nothing short of laying down pool side and aiming my zoom lens into the lush green underworld .... that was the easy bit!
Getting up again with my camera slung around my neck was not a pretty sight but a photographers got to do what a photographers got to do all in the pursuit of that perfect shot!!
Hoping you all have a wonderful week.
