A Spring Day At The Pat ....

Patawalonga Boat Haven on a beautiful Spring day
Blue skies and calm waters
what more could we ask for.

This pic was taken on the same day but in the late afternoon
and looking in the oposite direction
It's interesting to see the slight brush of evening light
which gives a softer effect undetected by the naked eye.

Both gorgeous nautical shots Dianne, I have a real soft spot for either really early morning light (I know you do too, I love your early morning images) and later in the day..I have a real problem with the midday sun!

I love the reflections and the softness in the second shot. I'm going to be rude and tell you it's time to change your header. Forgive me, but you have so many beautiful photos, its time to give another one an airing. Hope you don't think I am precocious. I love your photos and blog.

Diane:- no I don't think you're precocious - I guess you're just a lot more observant then I am ... the header sits there and I don't even think about it.
Maybe after my holidays I'll surprise you and change it!!

Beautiful shots! Is the Buffalo still a restaurant? I ate there once...

River:- I don't know if it's still operating as a restaurant ... It was closed last weekend.

The touch of red in that top picture catches my eye.

The City Daily Photo Blog Theme Day for October is nearly upon us. Have you, as yet, given some thought to your interpretation of our theme, ‘Silhouette’? There are a number of meanings to this word, and there is no need to feel restricted to the meaning in the English language. If you are a member of Face Book, you are welcome to post your contribution to the CDPB group page at http://www.facebook.com/groups/2628431329/. If you are not a member of Face Book, you may care to post at http://cdpbthemeday.blogspot.com.au/2012/09/silhouette-cdpb-for-october.html.
As you post your October Theme contribution, please vote for your choice of the five suggested themes for November (My Street, Fresh Fruit and Vegetables, The Water’s Edge, Ageing (dis)gracefully, or The Thrill of the Dance). You may vote at either location, but please only vote once! The results will be conflated at the close of voting on Monday 8th November.
