Jersey Cows Amid Golden Wattle ......

Just a few snippets from my week

Jersey cows are always timid and good-natured
As a child growing up on a mixed farm
my sisters and I gave them pretty names like
Jemima .. Henrietta ... Polly and Daisy.

Daffodils, jonquils and snowdrops
all the better viewed through a barbed wire fence

Golden wattle ... Australia's national floral emblem
At the moment our country roadsides are awash with their
fragrant fluffy golden sprays.

O the golden joy of wattle! Our wattle is appearing but little is in full radiant bloom! I am sure our timetable of daily rain and little sun may have something to do with that! Lovely collage!

The photos here convey a sense of grace and comfort. The beauty of nature and wonderful sceneries.

It's looking very spring like in your part of the world. It is beginning to unfold ever so slowly here too. The cow looks so lovely and gentle.

It's beginning to look a lot like spring!! Love this rural collage Dianne and j'adore the flowering wattle, we used to have one at the top of the garden and it was a delight to walk out into the garden and smell the perfume..alas it has been chopped down now. (I miss it, especially at the very beginning of spring)

Three different kinds of photos, Dianne. Each of them good.

I love all three! The dairy farm here is primarily composed of Jersey cows and they are lovely animals (and produce the most delicious milk and cheeses :)

it's hard to imagine Jersey cows having any other sort of names. Three lovely photos.

I love country photos, being in the country, anything about the country actually! I think it's about time I headed out of the city and took a trip to the farm, it's been a while. Thank you Dianne for the inspiration to get out of the city!

Excellent shots! Have a wonderful week.
