Pinky Flat ....

Pinky Flat on the Torrens River is a haven for birds
and particularly this area which always abounds with
pelicans, seagulls and black swans ... yesterday the swans
were further up stream but the pelicans had taken up their
usual posy right on the waters edge

That looks like a lovely place and what I wouldn't give to be in that paddle boat and so close to the pelicans. What a great photo op that would be!

Nice image. The pelicans do seem right at home and totally unperturbed by the red paddle boat.

Beautiful header photo! How interesting that the pelicans don't seem to be worried about the nearness of people!

I love pelicans. They aren't too concerned about the people.

I think we both have a fancy for strolls along by a river Dianne. Beautiful image, love the splash of colour and adore the pelicans, such odd birds! I am so happy to have at last found someone who enjoyed the Jubilee celebrations as much as moi, I think more did but don't want to own up to it haha!
