Red Truck At The Bottom Of The Orchard .......

I like the way this red truck has
nestled in for the winter ... I guess the heavy work
of carrying crates laden with rosy red apples
from orchard to cold-stores has finished for another year
and it's time for truck and farmer to take a well earned break.

Lovely capture, Dianne. THe red and green make a great contrast.

Beautiful photo, Dianne. It does look like the truck is just resting there.

Beautiful shot Dianne! Have an awesome week!

Dianne, watch your focus. See how the camera has focussed on the branches closest to camera and not the truck. (I'm assuming you wanted the truck in focus.) Try switching to the centre focus point, move it over the thing you want to be in focus, focus the camera by half depressing the shutter button and then recompose. (Hope you don't mind me saying this but you are such a good photographer, its a shame to see this happen.)

Thanks Ann ... no I don't mind at all ... my aim is to improve my photography and for that I'm more than happy to hear constructive critisism.

Love the shot Dianne. Reminds me of "snug as a bug in a rug". Also wonder if the truck is as much of a challenge to drive as the old Dodge we have on the vineyard. Thanks also Ann for your comments. Helps me to learn as well.

A red truck with so much weathered character! It looks lovely nestled into its own special sanctuary!

p.s. I was so lucky to get any shot of the moon last night as well, I went out took a few shots, came in to change cameras, when I stepped outside...pooof! the clouds had come in and it was gone, so had to make do with what I got!

I'm not sure the old Austin is going to see its way thru this winter Dianne.
