All Shone Up ......

Spotted on North Terrace were these classy wedding cars all shone up for the occasion
I think maybe American Chrysler or possibly Cadillacs ?

I hope you don't feel sea-sick but there's no way I could fit a complete
photo of these glamorous cars in one frame
( that could be because I had the macro lens on my camera!!)

Don't you just love these white tyres

Lovely perspective for these interesting photographs. I think they are better this way than if you had used the usual perspective.

Wonderful details Dianne, had to laugh about the 'macro lens' the number of times I've swung my camera up for action and left the lens cap on!! The white tyres are mega stylish.

Hi Dianne,

Yes, love the white walls and what fun wedding cars to carry the lucky couple away to be married.

The top photo is a 1959 Cadillac, now 53 years old, but obviously loved and maintained. The bottom photo is a also a Cadillac of the same era. These cars were from the "chrome boat" era of American cars. Love your shot getting cars with the architecture.

Beautiful shots, Dianne, not at all seasick here. I remember those cars, and to a youngster they represented unattainable luxury. Now they're either wedding cars, collectors' cars, or just enormous gas-guzzlers.

Applauding your creativity! I agree with a previous comment about combining the architecture with the vehicle - nicely done.

I love that shade of blue on that last shot.

I like photos that take an element and feature that part.
Funny how I seem to appreciate big American cars more today as they were not my choice when they and I were younger. I still prefer more functional Euro cars though.

Love it Dianne. What fun it would be to ride in one of these.
