Looking Through The Bakery Window ........

There's something heart-warming about peeking through
the windows of a bakery, with that wonderful aroma of
freshly baked bread and other sugary pleasures
wafting through the air.

Macarons in salted caramel or rasberry
with ganache or buttery fillings are perhaps my
all-time favourite treat

The French would say that the perfect macaron
has a slight crunch to the outer shell with a soft chewy centre

Golden crusty French Baguettes demi or petite
just begging to be stuffed with
 soft camembert and cranberry jelly
who could resist?

Hi Dianne,

Oh yes, the smell and look of bread and macarons in a shop window has to be the best. Your photos make me feel hungry.

Happy week

I'd rather be sitting inside with a cup of coffee and something yummy. I've never had a macaron, must rectify this one day.

I agree, you can't go past the smell of a bakery. Great shots would love one of those macaroons right now.

With such a sweet, welcoming logo, I'd be inside in a second.

I'm afraid I'm not crazy about macarons, but your photo is wonderful! I'll have a baguette or two, though.

Macarons seems to be the rage in town, and is touted to replace cup cakes. During our final for master chef, one contestant stucks hers too early, you see the Macarons dropping one by one. She didn't win of course.

Dianne, where is this cavern of delight? I have been searching for a decent baguette in Adelaide for years.
