Row Houses On Stanley ........

~  Row Houses  Stanley Street  North Adelaide  ~

This complex of Heritage cottages built in 1906
was let to widows and poor tenants
for two shillings and sixpence a week.
It is one of Adelaide's larger working class rows
to survive intact.

Now considered quite an up-market expensive leafy location.

What a lovely location you have captured here Dianne. It's great that these houses have remained intact.

It looks so nice, it is made beautiful to live there now. Glad they kept it, you have to cherish those old building.

We have row houses in the USA, too, but nothing like these. Yours are very well maintained.

They are beautiful. All those small old workmen's cottages are so sought after these days.

This row house looks like it is well maintained, I like the little ornate fences in front and the ornate decorated windows.
