A Pew With A View .......

Looking through frosted glass lancet arched windows
in "St Cyprians"  heritage listed Anglican Church
located in North Adelaide

Running along the out-side wall are mass planting of
roses and canna lillies in vibrant shades of orange and purple
which when viewed through the frosted panes is quite magical

Unfortunately the draw-string hung right through the center
of each window  ...

Gorgeous photos. Too bad about the string thing, because the colours seen through the glass are gorgeous.
Also love your title. Well done.

These are beautiful photos. Quite magical to sit in church and see a view like that rather than traditional stained glass.

What a nice pew this would be to sit at. Beautiful shots Dianne. I also sort of like the draw string through the photos as well.

Leovi's comment is interesting - these photos remind me of his work! I like the cord - it ALMOST looks staged ...

Oh how pretty! Too bad you couldn't just cut that draw string off!

I love this style of glass...I'd be far too busy looking at the shapes and images outside to take any notice of a service! Great set of pictures.
