A Splash Of Colour..............

Nestled in among the stately mansions and regal buildings
on the eastern corner of South Terrace
I noticed this side wall decorated with street art.

It had no signature and to my mind no real message
but I quite liked it - I hope you do too.

Sometimes, pretty things exist for their own sake. Sure adds a splash of colour to what was probably a bit of a drab & unloved corner of the city!

Happy New Year (I know I'm terribly late but i) better late than never, eh?! and ii) in France it's customary to present your wishes all through January!! Good excuse, eh?!)

It certainly brightens up a brick wall and seems to show the dominance of nature over man-made skyscrapers.

It does indeed add a fresh and colourful face to the building/s. Well done for discovering it on your journeys! On South Terrace, most people would be looking to the opposite side of the road at the gardens and parklands - I appreciate your ever-vigilant eyes seeking out the extraordinary! Have a great week.

I do like it, and the fact that noone's tagged over it yet.

It is nicer than ugly graffiti. I was looking at a friends photos today and he had pics of street art like this in Chile. It was all through the villages , on walls and even the gutters.

It's a fantastical scene to come across Dianne, futuristic highrises set in the mountain side, I'm very relieved to see there's still colourful flowers in this new world!!

Dianne, there is a new meme that this would fit into. It is hosted by Carolyn from Oakland Daily Photo and is called Monday Mural.

I saw this when I visited for the taphophiles tragics post and meant to say something about its vibrant colour - and that there is a new murals meme. Glad you found it and linked to them.

Lovely colourful mural- I must go down and take a squizz- I'm never down in that neck of the woods these days, but it's almost on the route I take my partner to work sometimes! Love your photos!
