~   Glenelg Jetty  ~

Blue skies nothing but blue skies!
It has been so hot here at the moment that I can only
think in blue and green and water  ....

oh yes; it's a lovely jetty .. have walked it years back, and forgotten the location name.

Please send some of the hot this way. It struggles to reach 20C around here! We went west on the weekend to try and find some warm ... at least it was dry and 25C. Nonetheless the colours in this shot are lovely.

"Blue, green and water" look and sound fine to me. Is Glenelg the longest palindromic placename in the world?

lucky people... it has been so "cold" here today.. uff... I really need some of that hot ... ciao

John..... now you've got me scurrying off to find the meaning of pallindromic !!

Massimo...... believe me you would not want it this hot!

I don't know what is worse, to hot or to cold. I think everything which has the word "to" before the next... I will think of you, now it is so cold here, to get some warmth. Maybe you can think of us and imagine to get some cold of us freezing Europeans. Good luck.

Looks a little stormy. I know I'm complaining about the lack of heat in Sydney but I wouldn't want it that hot either. Hope it cools down a bit by March. I'm coming down for the Fringe and Womadelaide again if you'd like to catch up.

Ann.... yes definitely! it should be nice and cool by then and I'll have my new DSLR camera.

Great take on the blue skies theme!! But sadly, even the water isn't cool a few days into a heatwave ...

Lovely photo, Dianne, looking at it helps me cool down too. It has also been very hot in Melbourne...

The temperatures over there are awfully hot! I can see why this scene would be appealing to you today. It appeals to me, too.

You commented about the gold leaf on the Capitol dome. Yes, it is real!

We spend Sunday at the Brighton Jetty. It was quite lovely there too.
Lovely image.

Votre photo est vraiment très belle. J'ai du mal a imaginer que vous ayiez si chaud en ce moment alors qu'ici la neige arrive est les températures commencent a être très froides. C'est ça les antipodes.

Want to trade places for 24 hours? :))

Beautiful blues and greens Dianne, it certainly hasn't been easy keeping cool these last few weeks.

I wish I dare to jump off the jetty.
