On The Grape-Vine.......

These pics were taken in and around the
historic Penfolds winery complex  which includes
vineyards - winery - cellar door and the
Magill Estate Restaurant with it's million dollar view
looking down across the vineyards and further west
onto Adelaide's skyline

It's hard to believe this complex nestled into the foothills
of the Mount Lofty ranges - is less than
15 mins from the city centre

That is amazing Dianne, it looks like you're right out in the country. Those are the lushest, green vines I've seen, how nice to sit and have a lunch or dinner here!

I often buy Penfolds wine from the supermarket - it's usually very good.

Beautiful shots. And it is nice to see the winery from where so many bottles of wine were enjoyed :)

That last shot is a "corker" Dianne - love the contrast of colours, textures and "materials". Wishing you a wonderful week.

Love the last shot.
We are so lucky in Adelaide to have so many regions with such splendid wineries.

The vines certainly look like the climate agrees with them. They are rich and healthy.

This is a part of Australia i still don't know and when I go to my daughter next year, I'll probably have no time to go roaming around in Oz. She is expecting her fourth child in January. She lives in the outback of Cooktown.
Your photos are very beautiful .

It is nice to see this. Believe it or not, Penfolds wines can be found here in California!
