Looking Through The Portico....

Looking out from the side portico of  " Bonython Hall"
a beautiful mellow stoned building referred to as the "Great Hall" of the
Adelaide University's City Campus

I got a bit carried away taking pics
each archway a vignette that needed to be snapped

Beautifully framed Dianne, the jacarandas are so pretty just now. I would have found it hard to stop at one also, the University is such a lovely old building, reminds a little of our UWA.
It was $8 an egg Dianne, but one egg would feed roughly ten people, would still prefer a dozen hens eggs haha!

Beautiful. Love the contrasting colours between the jacaranda and the old limestone building Dianne.

What a lovely place. And having seen those beautiful blue flowering jacaranda trees, I realise I have not seen trees like that for years and years. They really lift the heart.

I do like a framed photo, ambiguous as that may sound.

Great shots. In the two first pictures the contrast between the blue sky and the tree is awesome.

Have a great week.

Beautiful shots Dianne with the jacarandas still in flower and the manicured lawn setting of the lovely old sandstone.

I think I need to get back into the city to get more photos of our fair city.
Love the framing through the archways.

Aren't the jacarandas photogenic? Such a limpid lilac/blue colour! Wonderful captures, enhanced by the architecture!

Love the stateliness of the last photo. Another world, another time.
