Glimpsed Through A Window.....

Taking a peek through the round bay window
on the western edge of  historic and
picturesque "Ayers House"
.............................

Adelaide's finest example of regency architecture
with great windows for catching reflections
slightly curved and shone to perfection.

Looking sky-ward through the beautiful old jacaranda tree
you see reflected in the window

Love purple - just returned from Brisbane and the Jacarandas are dropping the bloom, while here in Melbourne we are just experiencing the purple. And our agapanthus are doing the same.

The jacaranda really adds a spot of spring colour!

Both are very nice! I like the old looking lights inside the house also. Jacaranda trees are very nice looking, but WHAT A MESS they make. We had one in our front yard. They are dropping something at all times...

It's like the window is a lens that snapped the shot. The jacaranda tree is magnificent. I love your photos.

Gorgeous reflection photo, Dianne, and I love the jacaranda tree.
I'm going to have to make a mental note of that. November is the time to visit Australia, the jacaranda is in bloom. I want to see it.

A super reflection and building. Jacarandas are so beautiful and the colour always gets washed out in photos don't you think?

I am back catching up with my favourite blogs after the olive harvest and as always some stunning photos for me to browse through here, the two in this post are particularly stunning. I love the jacaranda tree and it's reflection well spotted.
