Beautiful shot Dianne, I bet some of those flowers (not those particular ones haha!) would have been around in the 1800's too, lovely old roses and lavender etc.

Love the (Oyster plant??) flowers! They look very old world as well - so set off the building perfectly!! But the view from the dining room inside Ayers House is also magnificent ...

What a difference 700m vertical height makes, our acanthus aren't even thinking of shooting up flower spikes yet..
