Ruffled Feathers.......

I snapped this young teenage duck in our Botanic Gardens
she was shy and timid  but came close enough
for me to take a photo and then quickly
 disappeared into the marshes.

On the week-end I was fortunate to attend a fabulous workshop
by "Steve Parish" with lots of tips on capturing wildlife
up close and personal   I'm so looking forward to
trying to put this new-found knowledge into action

He's an inspiring photographer and person!

Wonderful, Dianne. You did learn the lesson of "getting close." I am planning to try more of this, myself.

What a beautiful shot! I love the sharpness of the face and the soft look of the feathers.
