City Reflections.........

Looking across stream to the modern
 Space-Theatre and Dunstan Playhouse
which are part of the wider Festival Theatre complex

It is rumoured that this whole area is going to receive a face-lift
which is long over-due - by night it's fine but daylight definitely
shows the need for a re-vamp,

Perhaps like the Opera House, it looks good from a distance or at night.

Wow! Who needs a facelift when you look THIS good??!! Maybe distance and darkness are more flattering than we think ...

It's amazing how lights and water can make the most beautiful reflections and such a gorgeous image Dianne, the cold hard light of the day can be cruel, especially when I look in the mirror haha!

Stunning light and colour! And what a dramatic scene!

Great atmospheric shot, especially in the sky with the day's light disappearing off in the top right hand corner and some clouds entering on the left.
(We seem to have been thinking along similar lines in our choice of subject this week!) Have a great weekend.

It looks good to me, but what do I know?

Dianne said...

Jack:- I think you know a lot - and I would have much to learn from your photography skills.

This beautiful photo makes me think of the ones J Bar posts from Sydney. You all live in one gorgeous part of the world. Too bad it is so far from VA. I am too old with a bad back to take such a long flight even if broken up into segments. Have my FF miles saved up for the trip, but guess I will have to settle for Europe one last time.Everything about this shot is so inviting. genie

Definitely charming at night, but a revamp could always help!
