Dianne I love piers and this looks such a beauty with its weathered timbers. Hope you enjoyed the Jigsaw. Saw it on Karl's excellent Bolzano DP and had to have one.Have a nice week.
You just cannot beat the colours of the sand and the blue sky and you've captured it spectacularly Dianne. Love the reflections in the first shot, the construction in the second and as for the segull, he's looking as if to say 'What.....???' haha!
That's right Dianne - rub it in! :)Beautiful shots though - the blues are quite dramatic.
It's amazing how a distant horizon seems to carry any worries away just like this photo. Congrats.
Ha, sounds like a really hard winter! We have around 16C today and it is supposed to be summer!
What a great winter! There is no such thing as winter here in Malaysia. 32degrees on Christmas Day - beautiful!Duncan In Kuantan
Dianne - lovely pics - did you know that Henley Beach was used for motor racing many years ago by the SA Sporting Car Club. There's a rich history hidden there.
Oh yes, I mean't to say thank you for today's weather in VIC. Lovely day of 20c and more to come.I blogged on a wonderful almost spring day with classic cars.Should have taken the suncreen lotion.
ha! I had to do a conversion to discover that your temps were in the 70's. now that is nice. summer days are waning here, with the days getting shorter and the nights a bit cooler. you're on the cusp of the good stuff coming your way, and you've captured it beautifully with these photos. your reflection photo in previous post of Boston Bay is divine. happy weekend to you.
Crisp, clear shots. Beautiful.
I'm thinking Perth must be another name for Heaven. :)
Three beautiful and crisp photographs today, Dianne. Very nice.
I love long jetties like that, Dianne, especially if by the time I get to the end, the wind is gusting and the salt is sticking. I like the unevenness of the boards, and that you can see between them to the sea water below. The absolute closest this little black duck gets to living on the edge.
Wow!Really nice images!I like them both.
So love that pier shot!
I especially like the top shot with the jetty disappearing into the blue ... the weather looks wonderful.
Oh this is sort of cruel! :-)
I really love the simplicity of the top shot, Dianne. The tones are perfect. Great reflection in your previous post too.
