Reflecting On Victoria Amazonica......

I posted one of these beautiful Victoria Amazonica lilies earlier this week ( click here  )
in it's second  and last day of flowering where it had turned a soft pink

Yesterday I returned to the Botanic Gardens to find the bud in the adjoining pot
had opened - it's a pure soft porcelain white.
Both shades of colour are exquisite but I would have to say
my favourite is the pink

The perfection of the flower, and the perfection of its reflections, and the perfection of the focus in these images is exquisite! Bravo!

Oh well done Dianne, it's pretty hard to choose between the pink and white so I won't, they are both stunning and perfect reflections!!

The botanical garden in Adelaide is beautiful. I have been thinking of living in Oz, but the time has not been right. Last night there was a dream of going back. Maybe some day?

Stunning Dianne. I had been hoping to stumble across some of the flowers you have featured in the Botanic Gardens last week but it was not exactly the weather then for stroll. Hopefully next time.
