From Ship To Shore......


 Bulk handling wharf at Port Lincoln

Wharfs are such a bustling hive of activity
 ships loading - coming and going
people - trucks!
Late last year there was a major accident here when a grain carrier
collided with local tuna trawler  Apollo S  sinking the tuna vessel

I wouldn't normally find industrial shots beautiful, and yet it is. The blue of the harbour, the wildlife and the glimpse of the hill range. Nice shot Dianne.

I really like those green lines behind the red ships. Love the seagulls in the foreground too.

You have to wonder how there are not more accidents, as you say Dianne, such a lot of hustle and bustle, can only imagine the scene if I was steering one of those big ships haha! I adore harbour, docks and ship pictures, this is superb with the flock of seagulls in the foreground.

I must admit to being totally fascinated by ports Dianne. Interesting to compare with what we have in Fremantle.
