"Talking Our Way Home" .........

"Talking Our Way Home"  by Shaun Kirby

I have previously shown you these origami floating glass boats
daylight photo here    and    twilight photo here

They are a series of five art works created around  letters
written home by early South Australian settlers and migrants.
Semi -private / semi-public - memories floating on water

Unfortunately with my point and shoot camera
the clarity of night shots is rather poor but I hope
you can appreciate how pretty they look at night
with the backdrop of the River Torrens

I think your point and shoot has done a beautiful shot Dianne, looks very soft and romantic!

Isn't delightful how the boat combined with it's reflection forms a star. These a great shots Dianne.

They look awesome and well done with P&S camera. I think I mentioned before that we have similar sculptures in Redcliffe. Must be the same artist.

They look wonderful at night. You are doing extremely well with the P&S. Told it wasn't the camera but the photographer.

They look great. It is a creative idea. Your shots are good, no need to apologize for the camera.

Don't apologise - you get some great shots with your camera. These are so pretty - I like the star effect too.

I saw these from a taxi on the way back to the airport on my one and only flying visit to Adelaide. Your photo makes them look much more impressive, Dianne:-)

Not just pretty - but love the symbolism. Hearing the story behind the art makes it so much more evocative.
