Beautiful light of fading day! Love the tones across the water.
Have you turned me around? So easy to do ... but seriously ... If I am in Adelaide and I face the setting sun ... what pray tell stretch of water am I looking across. Gulf of St Vincent ... nah! Spencer Gulf ... I could just Google it ...
Julie:- you're heading in the right direction - it's looking out to Barker Inlet and then across the Gulf of St Vincent.
Very nice sunset...Greetings from France,Pierre
Hi Dianne - it's hard to resist a sunset with clouds, especially when you capture it so beautifully.
So peaceful. Beautiful capture. Am also to post a sunset next! Must be in the air.
What wonderful colours, Dianne. Just beautiful!— KKay, Alberta, CanadaAn Unfittie's Guide to Adventurous Travel

Such gorgeous, gorgeous photos on your blog this last week. Just catching up - glad I did!
Lovely capture Diane. There have been some great sunstes lately. Where I live they are always over the land.
Lovely job, Dianne, your compact serves you well yet again:-) Looking forward to my flying visit to Adelaide next week. It's related to my new job back in the UK, so I'm being put up in a nice hotel with a rooftop boasting a panoramic view of the city, I'm told. Camera and tripod will definitely be travelling with me!
All of the above Dianne plus those pastel colours are divine!!
Alan:- I hope the weather is kind to you in Adelaide - I will be 500km away in the west of the state - still thinking of some good photo locations - North Terrace and the East Parklands - Glenelg if you have time (especially around the marina area) - I think I said before anywhere along the Torrens River and Montefiore Hill. Will love to see what photos you take! Are you going to be posting from the London?
Thanks for that Dianne, I should have a little spare time, so we'll see how I go. I probably have enough photos to keep the Melbourne blog going for a couple of months, by which time maybe I'll have a head start with a London portfolio:-) I am a little sceptical about my ability to maintain a daily blog whilst also working full time! Am in awe of anyone who does... thanks again, Dianne, enjoy your trip out west.
