A Walk In The Park #2.......

I

More photos taken on my walk in the
Mt Lofty Botanic Gardens earlier this week.

Just past the path in the top pic a friend who had joind me
for the walk - skidded on the narrow gravel path and tumbled
down the embankment  - fortunately with no serious injury!!
We were able to have a good laugh about it later
Photo shoots are risky business!

Fantastic shots of your autumn colour Diane. Don't you wish we could hire the people from the botanic gardens to keep ours?

Autumn colours seem to be very vivid this year. No doubt the rain over summer helped and the weather becoming cold quite quickly.

You really have to mind your footing there. The gardens are almost a downhill extension of our garden and always lovely any time of the year.

beautiful colours. I'm glad no one was hurt. I tore a ligament in my knee recently and it is taking ages to heal.

Beautiful colours and looks like a wonderful place to walk. Glad there were no injuries. Enjoy your weekend and take care when you venture out with the camera this time.

Your autumn is very vibrant - a veritable a blaze of yellows, oranges and reds. I really love the texture of the tree bark as a contrast to the light, colourful foilage. There is something so timeless about those trees.

What a wonderful place to go for a walk, the colours are amazing. My husband walked the Bibbulmun Track over here in WA and slipped and toppled down slopes so many times, but thoroughly enjoyed it!!

It's a beautiful spot - but the paths can be treacherous, as I've also found out!!

Have a great weekend!

Love the colours on the top pic. I'm sure your friend took it all in his/her stride (no pun intended):-)
