They came on the Buffalo....

HMS Buffalo Restaurant moored in the Patawolonga at Glenelg
is an exact replica of the vessel that brought free settlers
to South Australia in 1836.

Wow! I wish I had found that when we were there. Something for our next trip there, which will be in October.

I missed that part of Glenelg. Well, maybe if there's a next time?

Been there, done that.
Grouse - and loved it when we there for the TDU. Glenelg is delightful especially when having a Latte after a bike ride.

That reflection is as close to perfect as it gets, Dianne. You could almost turn the photo upside down.

Just wandered over to say thank you for your comment on my blog and i really like the reflections of the ship, trees and buildings in the lake :-).

Yep, tick from this quarter for the reflection, too, Dianne. Such clarity ...

Ditto above. Difficult to get a really clear reflection in water. Saw that from a distance and wondered what it was.

My goodness the water looks like a mill pond. Great photo.

In Rotterdam we have a Marine Museum with a replica of an old ship called " De Buffel" which is "The Buffelo".could it be the same ship? Anyway it's beautiful!
I also like the other photos, thanks for sharing.
