On The Edge Of The Square...........

The Supreme Court - one of Adelaide's oldest public buildings
sits on the southern edge of Victoria Square
.........................................

Whilst passing here on the weekend I noticed how lovely
the lacy wrought iron gates looked when closed
.

Nicely done, Dianne. This scene works very well in a frontal, symmetrical shot. The arches, the doors and the grillwork are all interesting

Perfect symmetry..

Adelaide's classic old buildings sure do stand the test of time, don't they?

I agree with Red. There is such grace about these lovely sandstone buildings and their beautiful lacework details. I love the first photo with the three arches - it feels almost religious in look - the father, son and holy ghost (or maybe that's just too many years in a Catholic school..)
