Ooo ... I am sooo glad they left the old signs along the top ... and the shape of the building ... which in Sydney would appear to be the shape of a mechanic's workshop.I am tossing up whether your apostrophes are correct or not. I think they may be: apostrophe of possession.
It is nice that not every shop has to be slick and renovated within an inch of its life.
I find all the current fascination with vintage fashion an interesting trend. I think the 40s and 50s were quite lovely (though it is rather a shock seeing girls in the corridor at work looking like how I remember my Mum as a child.) However, a repeat of 70s style is rather worrying to me.
I discovered this little gem when visiting your beautiful city.I've posted it on the Gouger St page of www.precinkt.com
A vintage shop too . It is a lovely reminder of the past. Outside and inside.
♥I Love your blog♥
I love that shop. Took pictures of it a few months ago. I love the way that Adelaide has insisted on maintaining a connection with history with the revitalisation of buildings.
You made me want to visit your country!Great blog!Interesting and with beautiful photos!Gunn / Norway
